Reed Diamond is all sorts of amazing. A serious thinker, funny as hell, super smart, creative, a great actor, a long-time singer & musician, father, husband, and, dear to my heart - an improviser.
He has a ton to say about what Homicide meant to him and how it still reverberates all these years later. Also, he’s a great storyteller and has lots of tell about the actors, scenes, directors, writers, and how he found the Kellerman character amidst all the chaos. Will we talk about improvised madrigals? A bit. Wrestling writers? A touch. Also, we share our love for all things Andre Braugher: his sweetness, his stunning craft, and his scene-stealing skills!
It was delightful to connect back up with Reed and take this waltz together through the primordial ooze and laughter of our shared history.
And check out the new podcast, Homicide: Life on the Set! On July 4th, they’ll be dropping a show with Reed sharing an entirely different perspective.
