Cut to the chase: Reed Diamond and I are putting together the final pieces to do a Rewatch podcast. If you don’t know what a Rewatch podcast is - neither did I. I stick to my conspiracy debunking/scriptwriting/Buddhist/Poetry/Mike Birbiglia podcasts and rarely venture into the entertainment realm.
Well, except for Mike Birbiglia, who slays in all of his solo shows on Netflix, so he’s just the musty-ist, must.
But, after interviewing with Reed, something clicked together. He and I had such warm feelings for each other and the show and had great chemistry. When you have good chemistry, who wants to let that go? I knew there was something there, but, it took a while for the ‘aha'!’ moment.
It’s a weird thing as an actor to suddenly turn your attention to writing about something you did 3000 years ago. To dig up memories, to open yourself up to the good and the bad and the uncomfortably empty spaces. And, it’s a lot of work. So, if I was going to continue onward doing another iteration of what I do here - I was going to need a partner who was at least as on board, and passionate as I am.
