When we last saw our hero, in Pt. 1…

Or, more accurately, a potentially unreliable narrator - he was on the verge of a cliffhanger about hard lessons.

Many of the people in this story are still around. So, consider this just my subjective experience, while understanding that most people involved, at the time, were acting with the best of intentions.


To me, the salad days of Commander In Chief were, in order of importance: preparation, pilot, pickup to series. During that time, there was a lot of love on the set. Harry Lennix, Anthony Azizi, and I were thick as thieves. Geena Davis and I had lovely talks about our characters. Our kids played together. The press was touting our show as the brightest of the bright.
