When I got my first strong bite from the acting bug, I lived in the small berg of Federal Way, Washington. I had done some acting in high school and had the vague notion of going to nearby Highland Community College and doing more. But, for what? Even though I was always making epic Super 8 kung fu movies with my friends, writing stories, and drawing cartoons - c’mon, acting? As a profession? No one did that where I came from. Usually, no one left where I came from.
